How Do I Volunteer?<\/h2>

First of all, let’s talk about what volunteering is.<\/h5>

Volunteering is when an individual supports a social initiative or a non-governmental organization (NGO) event without expecting any financial reward or other benefit, other than the satisfaction of contributing to the quality of life of people outside of their family or immediate circle of acquaintances, and for the greater good of society, solely because they believe it is the right thing to do.<\/p>

What does volunteering offer us?<\/p>

Volunteering does not offer us any financial gain. However, it can help us gain a lot of experience in life. For example:<\/p>

1- By volunteering, you experience the happiness of benefiting society and people without expecting anything in return. At the same time, you learn how to deal with problems effectively.<\/p>

2- When you are a student, you do not have any experience in working life. This experience is not something you can learn in school or from textbooks. By volunteering, you can gain the ability to deal with the environment and problems you encounter, which can give you self-confidence. This can also prepare you for working life.<\/p>

3- You can gain experience in teamwork. People often have trouble adapting to teamwork in their work lives. And adaptability to teamwork is preferred in the hiring process. Participating in volunteer activities during your student years can contribute to teamwork, adaptability to work life, and even time management.<\/p>

4- Through volunteering, you can meet new people and improve your social relationships. Volunteering is one of the most effective ways to socialize. At the same time, it can help you deal with stress, manage your emotions, communicate effectively, and develop empathy.<\/p>

5- By volunteering, you can experience which direction you want to go and how you want to shape your future after your student life is over. You can learn about the operation of corporate activities and gain new experiences in your life.<\/p>

Anyone who has legal capacity and embraces the purposes and principles of the association, and who agrees to work as a volunteer in this direction, can become our volunteer.<\/p>
